As far as we are concerned, growing means contributing to the development of the whole region surrounding us. That’s why the same commitment we put into the company can be found in all the projects carried out for the good of the community of Pesaro and beyond: in schools (University, Technical and Professional Institutes), in solidarity and in sports (motorcycling, soccer, women’s volleyball, basketball).
For this reason, joining the Consortium of Victoria Libertas Pesaro seemed like a coherent evolution of our “sense of responsibility” for this area. We already knew some members and we found the business network activated thanks to interesting and stimulating basketball. We want Vuelle to return soon to occupy the top position it had in its golden years in the national basketball scene and beyond. After the season was suspended due to Covid, we felt the thrill of a new beginning in the air and we were happy to start a new tournament.
We had the feeling that this year the premises for a good championship were all there, and so it was, at least until the fantastic Final Eight of the Coppa Italia, in which the team was exceptional. The secret to the success of a company or a basketball team is, after all, the same: finding the right balance between experience and enthusiasm, combining the skills and abilities of the so-called “senators” with the initiative and desire to do of the younger ones. The enthusiasm of the fans also seems to have returned, for now only “remotely”. We would like to return to celebrate a victory “in presence” as, for example, in the game won against Bologna on the very day of the Vitrifrigo Arena inauguration. A great day for all of us: we hope there will soon be many more.
The Vitrifrigo Arena project also allows us to associate our name with a unique, beautiful space, known throughout Italy and to contribute to the success of all the numerous initiatives which will be hosted there.
We hope that, after this difficult period, it will return to being a lively place, open, visited by many people, lots of youth, for many days a year: a special place for all those who care about Pesaro, like us.
