VITRI ALCESTE GROUP recognises among its corporate priorities the management of environmental aspects and health and safety risks in the workplace; therefore, at its plants, it has implemented an Integrated Environment – Safety Management System based on UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001 standards.
OBJECTIVES

• identify and assess the environmental impacts related to the products and organisation
• identify improvement actions to reduce the significant environmental impacts;
• adopt technological solutions and innovations that allow for an improvement in production and environmental performance.

In this context, the company undertakes to:
• protect the environment and safeguard the territory by preventing pollution in the performance of its activities, adopting low environmental impact operating practices;
• promote and encourage an environmentally sustainable production model
• meet its compliance obligations and comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and provisions,
• continuously improve the management system and enhance environmental performance,
• involve, train and coach staff at all levels to make a concrete and continuous contribution to the improvement of the Environmental Management System.

VITRI ALCESTE GROUP provides adequate resources so that this policy is communicated, understood and applied within the organisation and available to relevant stakeholders.
This policy provides the framework for setting and reviewing improvement objectives for the health and safety of workers and the environment.
All personnel are required to plan and carry out their duties in accordance with the objectives of this policy and in compliance with the procedures laid down, and to report any suggestions/requests regarding this policy to the company managers.
