Alceste Vitri: “Businesses need minds not just labor”.
Vitri Alceste Group inaugurated the VRL (VAG Refrigeration Laboratory) in Vallefoglia (PU), a cutting-edge technological center in Europe for research and development in the field of refrigeration.
No other technology hub in Europe concentrates all activities in one location like VRL.
“A true research center which enables the company and our partners to develop and test increasingly innovative, efficient, environmentally sustainable solutions.”
These are the words of Alceste Vitri, spoken during the round table attended by Prof. Sauro Longhi, the Magnificent Chancellor of the Marche Polytechnic University and Avv. Salvatore Giordano, General Manager of Confindustria Marche Nord.
“It would be reductive to just call it a laboratory. Certifications for products are not simply issued here, however important it is to be accredited and therefore “confirmed” as a serious, independent and accurate measurement body. The design of the laboratory, which took over 4 years of work, allows VAG to become a manufacturer-inventor, having bet even more on innovation”.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony of the advanced laboratory designed in collaboration with the Marche Polytechnic University and certified by Accredia (Italian Accreditation Body) enables all efficiency tests to be carried out on refrigeration units and systems designed, manufactured and marketed by the VAG` group or tested on behalf of other companies that send their products to carry out the necessary tests and obtain certification.
The VRL lab employs 15 engineers and technicians with 750 tests per year simulating all environmental conditions, with test temperatures from -45 to +55 degrees.
“Vitri Alceste Group has once again taken up the challenge of sustainable innovation based on advanced technology to offer high reliability and makes it available to industries in the Marche region, Italy and the world at large – added Avv. Giordano – responding to the need to design in an environmentally sustainable way looking to the future. We need enlightened entrepreneurs like Alceste Vitri to guarantee development, work and innovation“.
“Solutions are found through knowledge, and good collaborators are those who behind the knowledge have the ability to indulge their intuitions by finding the right environment to express themselves“, concluded Chancellor Longhi.
